Internship Program

The Attorney General's office is seeking individuals interested in gaining experience as interns working in the Nebraska Department of Justice. The Attorney General's internship program is open to students majoring in all disciplines. We are happy to work with your college or university to ensure that your internship meets any requirements necessary to qualify for academic credit.

Experience/Qualifications Needed:

Strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated
Good communication skills -- verbal and written
Good organizational skills
Attention to detail
Innovation and enthusiasm
Ability to work independently
Ability to work well with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

Responsibilities:

Assist with administrative projects including research
Perform computer data input
Perform office/administrative duties -- filing, reporting, answering phones, etc.

Hours:

Approximately 10-20 hours per week. (Flexible with student schedule)

Salary:

Unpaid
