Bruning Comments on

School Finance Litigation

(Lincoln, NE) Attorney General Jon Bruning today responded to comments by the Nebraska Schools Trust regarding state education finance litigation.

“We take our job defending the state and the taxpayers very seriously,” Bruning said. “We have not received any proposal regarding the stay from opposing counsel. If we do, we will review it and consult with the Governor and our clients.”
