Bruning Elected Vice President of

National Association of Attorneys General

(Lincoln, NE) Attorney General Jon Bruning today was elected vice president of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) at the organization’s quarterly meeting in Atlanta.

“Protecting our families and children is a nationwide effort, and our state attorneys general are on the frontlines,” Bruning said. “When we get together to share ideas and experiences, we make our home states safer.”

As vice president, Bruning will sit on the NAAG executive committee. The position is in the line of succession for presidency of the organization.

NAAG facilitates interaction among Attorneys General. The organization coordinates state-federal working groups, plans and provides continuing legal education for state lawyers, and serves as a liaison between state attorneys general and the federal government.
