(Lincoln, Nebraska) The Attorney General’s Office is saddened by the death of Nebraska Supreme Court Justice John Wright.  Justice Wright made major positive contributions to the law and to the Nebraska Judicial System.  He was one of the original Court of Appeals judges who was a pioneer in making the Nebraska Court of Appeals a success as an intermediate appellate court that eliminated the past problem of long delays by Nebraska’s appellate courts.  His subsequent appointment to the Nebraska Supreme Court helped solidify our Supreme Court as a deliberative body that has made prompt and well-reasoned decisions for the 24 years in which Justice Wright served on the Supreme Court.
